Kickin' it Old School - Rice Krispies Treats

It's the easiest and my go-to recipe for a fast and delicious treat for those late night munchies. Dorm approved! Since I'm in college I always have mini-marshmallow for my cocoa around and usually by generic rice puff, because they are the same thing.

Ingredients:
1 bag mini marshmallows (they melt more evenly)
6 cups of rice puff cereal
1 tsp of vanilla
1/2 tsp of salt
4 tbsp of butter

Directions - Stove:
1. Lightly butter a 9x12” pan.
2. Add Butter to pan over medium/high heat wait to melt.
3. Then add marshmellows, vanilla, 3 tbsp butter, and salt to pan; stir constantly until marshmallows are completely melted.
4. Remove from heat and stir in cereal until completely coated.
5. Pour into pan and wet your hand with water to flatten mixture into pan.

Directions - Microwave:
1. Lightly butter a 9x12” pan.
2. Pour the marshmallows and butter in a large microwave-safe bowl and nuke it at HIGH power in the 2 minutes.
3. Stir cereal until completely coated.
4. Pour into pan and wet your hand with water to flatten mixture into pan.

ENJOY!
